Hey Martin,
What a wonderful concept for the nuturing and empowerment of youngsters into the leading edge technologies of the day. Do you think it can be somehow extended or maybe a spun-off for seniors 65 years +. It seems to me that we are somewhat like youngsters in our comprehension of the technologies of the day. Face it, we’re ‘oldsters’. Let me know what you think? Thanks, Bruce Quin
Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the compliment! I havent thought of a senior-koncept or anything like it. I think many, including myself, accidentially skip this group, since they are no longer the “young hopes for the future”. But don’t you think that intuitive user interfaces and infrastructure works both ways? I believe iPads are as easy for the kids as for the seniors. Lifelong learning theorists would agree with you, that it’s never too late to be introduced to new technologies. I just haven’t given it so much attention. What is your interest in that question? I don’t know your age but it seems as if you look at yourself as “older” already ? ;-)
I loved your blog post about modern learning spaces. I am very interested in this as well and found your post to be inspirational. Thank you.
